Social media has become an essential tool for students, serving multiple purposes that enhance their academic and social lives. One of the primary functions is communication, allowing students to stay connected with friends, family, and classmates. Platforms like Facebook and Instagram facilitate group chats and event planning, making it easier to coordinate study sessions or social activities. This constant connectivity helps foster a sense of belonging, which is particularly important during the formative years of adolescence and early adulthood. Additionally, social media acts as a resource for sharing academic information, enabling students to access articles, study materials, and important updates from their institutions.
